THE Training in Biointegrative Somatic Psychotherapy It is an advanced training course that integrates body, mind and emotion in a profound, scientific and humanistic therapeutic approach.
Developed by Mentara, this international training program offers a transformative educational and clinical experience, based on contributions from neuroscience, epigenetics, trauma, and contemporary psychosomatics.
Biointegrative Somatic Psychotherapy understands the human being as an indivisible unit, where the body is recognized as a central axis of the therapeutic process, emotional self-regulation, and clinical transformation.
Certification and Accreditation
The training is provided by an institute with national and European recognition.
In Portugal, Mentara is:
• Certified by DGERT – Directorate-General for Employment and Labour Relations
• Accredited by the European Association for Psychotherapy as EAPTI – European Accredited Psychotherapy Training Institute.
Upon completion of the Advanced Specialization in Biointegrative Somatic Psychotherapy and affiliation with the EAP, graduating students will be eligible to apply for the European Certificate of Psychotherapy (ECP).

With the exception of attendance at the specialization course in biointegrative somatic psychotherapy, the remaining courses do not require an interview;
Most courses have different formats (in-person, online and hybrid) and students can select the format, as long as it is available.
Mentara is a training center certified by DGERT and duly accredited by EAP (international organization), and all students will have access to the course attendance diploma after completing the course.
