Since 2006, the Mentara trains highly qualified professionals in Somatic Psychotherapy, preparing them for effective action that integrates body, mind and emotion.
The dream and vision of Esther Frankel is born, bringing the teachings of Biosynthesis to Portugal.
The Biosynthesis Congress is held at the Classical University. Dr. Maria del Mar develops actions to structure a school of Somatic Psychotherapy in Biosynthesis. Foundation of the CPSB as a Training Center in Portugal – Lisbon
Dr. Maria del Mar holds open workshops, starting the construction of the school. Opening of the 1st CPSB Training Center in Spain – San Sebastian
Opening of the Social Clinic in Lisbon, Portugal

Clinical Psychologist, Somatic Psychotherapist, Marital Psychotherapist, Naturopath, Homeopath, Director of CPSB in Portugal and Spain. Her vision and leadership have impacted the lifestyle and happiness of thousands of people, with transformative repercussions for future generations.

With over 20 years of experience, she is a Clinical Psychologist recognized by the OPP (Ordem dos Psicólogos Portugueses) as a Specialist in Clinical and Health Psychology. Recognized by the OPP (Ordem dos Psicólogos Portugueses) as a Specialist in Psychotherapy. Member of the EAP, European Association for Psychotherapy.
